statement that works great. Athletes have the opportunity to open doors that full time missionaries could only dream of. This argument has been beat to death on cougarboard but i think for any athlete who has pro sport potential, a mission is a strong detriment to them being successful in that way.

I may see things differently as i didnt get to serve a full time mission. Maybe that disqualifies me from having an opinion on the subject IDk.

In all honesty missions are great things for many people but for some I beliece the Lord will be fine with different plans.
