Fur our purposes, it is different, as it's now possible to get it without cable
with something called Sling TV. You sign up for it and, for $20/month, get a number of channels including ESPN, ESPN2, WatchESPN, TNT, TBS, and a few other news and family/kids channels like ABCFamily and DisneyChannel. It doesn't really help a lot with viewing everything, as you still have a few channels, but many of the channels you don't get if you want to watch the games, and would have to find a cable subscription to watch.
