Amazon's always been really good about returns, in my experience. We just did one this morning actually, cause of a broken product.
The default is they give you a pre-paid label so you can go to a dropbox/post office and send the original product back. But I prefer it when UPS comes and picks it up at our house, since it saves me having to drive to a dropbox and from printing the form (our printer is currently broken). They've always obliged when I've asked. So depending on if that makes life easier for you, see if that works.
