trucks (people don't understand the concept of payload, max tongue weight, max towing etc), every single day. Hard to know when you're buying used what exactly you're getting yourself into. Also I agree that sticker prices are high on trucks, but you'd have to be a fool to pay anywhere near sticker.

Everyone knows that the profit margins on trucks is insane, supposedly 90% of Ford's profits come from sales of their F-series trucks. I was able to get a pretty loaded GMC SLT for 11k off sticker which put it in the mid 30s. Not much more than I paid for a minivan, so I feel the value was pretty good.
