On the very last line of the program they said "It would be 50 years before people could live in Hiorshima again". Till that point I thought is was a good show, but people never stopped living in Hiroshima. Only 10 years after the bomb they built the park by the "Atomic Dome"

Nuclear weapons are devastating, but they get a rap that is far beyond reality. And Nuclear power is awesome, and getting better and safer all the time.

Ironic that Japan had more Nuclear power plants than the US till the Fukushima earthquake. Also ironic that an event that actually showed how safe nuclear power is was distorted by the media and politicians to be almost a China Syndrome event. I read one "report" in USA Today that said "the brave workers going into the plant to try and shut it down will be dead in two weeks"!!!!!!!!!!!!!! The reality is that no one is expected to have any ill effects from radiation exposure. Not only that, Fukushima was an older plant and not supposed to be able to withstand that magnitude of earthquake or tsunami - yet it did. Newer plants are far safer than Fukushima.

The real travesty is that Politicians, Media and the environazis were just waiting for something "bad" to happen so that they could start a panic about nuclear power.
