Closing on our house on April 30th.

Owners just sent me a text saying they won't have the house cleaned and ready until May 2nd...really? I want to start moving in ASAP. What should I do? I already was nice and closed on April 30th instead of May 1st for them. I was hoping to close one day later to delay the mortgage payment 1 more month.
