One of my companions who was sent state side from Venezuela almost died from walking pneumonia because he didn't seek tx. This was 25 years ago so hopefully the church is instructing it's Mission Presidents better so they inform missionaries. I don't remember them ever talking about what we should do if we needed medical care. I had a bad case of acne breakout for awhile and remember thinking if i should ask about seeing a dermatologist, but didn't.
