Dress code question: I have a job interview on Friday (very small company)
The boss has told me that they have a pretty informal workplace, and he has invited me to dress casual. Of course I was planning on wearing a suit for the occassion, and I've heard that a suit is pretty much a must-wear for formal the interviewing process. Is that out-dated advice? Should I still wear a suit for a "dress to impress" ideal, or tone it down to slacks and button-down? I'm thinking jeans would be too casual as an interviewee, even if everyone else is wearing jeans.

The company does engineering work for the the power and oil & gas sectors (chemE, MechE, EE folks mostly), and a lot of the company consists of people with 20+ years of experience.
