shocking. While I still laugh at people who proudly proclaimed he wasn't a D1 athlete (the laughter's a little louder now), it's crazy how much he compares physically to Weddle.

My own opinion is that PoVey always appeared, to paraphrase our President, athletic enough for what we needed him to do. I never once thought the NFL was anywhere near his future, especially for a guy who was ready to give up football prior to the 2013 season.

Those numbers came as a surprise to me, so maybe he'll continue to surprise and actually make a roster and not just a scout team. I seriously didn't even know he was gonna pursue the NFL after graduation.
