reverse (especially true for guys who go to non-elite B schools).
BUT....one very useful benefit of B school is they are great at facilitating a career change. I went to an elite grad school specifically to facilitate a career change. I found it very useful. One of my largest investors is the father of one of my classmates.
If you're willing to work in the west than BYU B school might be a pretty good option (I'm assuming you're looking to go there because you didn't get accepted at the top tier programs - if you got into a better school then go to the better school). No matter the cost, go to the best school you can. ROI is a terrible metric to use to analyze an education.
Really the only takeaways I have for you are:
1. B school is often a good option for those who want a career change.
2. Go to the best school you get can.
