It's pretty sad that one of the nations top 10 richest football programs is paying nearly 25% less than BYU. Don't get me wrong, I bleed red but...boy...that's pretty pathetic of the U.
That's funny. Yewt fan think's Utah's athletic department is one of the 10 richest programs in the country. According to USA Today, Utah is the #55 richest athletic department ( http://sports.usatoday.com/ncaa/finances ), and requires a $10M subsidy to get that high. Of course the list doesn't include numbers for private schools, just public schools, so Utah is actually lower than 55th. I'm sure Notre Dame rakes in more money that Utah. BYU pulled in $60,124,000 last year, so Utah is probably closer to #60. If you adjust for their government subsidy, it's probably lower than that.
