Big T said conference is a big factor with his son's recruitment on 1280 this AM
I don't know much about his son, but I thought it was interesting that he specifically talked about playing in a major conference like the "Pac-12 or ACC" as being important. Thurl also mentioned academics, playing time, etc. He said cost of attendance stipend doesn't really matter for his son, and it hasn't been used as a recruitment tool with his son.

It's a little frustrating to hear the "P-5 conference talk" as a cougar fan, regardless of whether his son is a player that would help BYU or not. I know that not being P5 is an issue, but you hate to hear it from a recruit's father. I'd like to think it isn't that big of a deal.
