It's not Bronco's lack of success, it's the school (BYU) putting more focus on..
.. the HC, missions, academic standards (big one) and quality of character that may be keeping players from having big NFL aspirations, or NFL capable recruits selecting BYU.
If Star, Orchard, Poutasi and the Krugers played in the 80's, they'd be playing at BYU, no question.
