But still....

"Another client, BYU wide receiver Jordan Leslie, has grown irritated. He sends the agents screenshots of prospect rankings that show lower rated players who've gone ahead of him. Smith tries to defuse the situation by telling him nobody can accurately forecast the draft and they're doing what they can, but Leslie doesn't want to hear it.
After the draft ends, more teams inquire about Leslie, who is still resentful that no team drafted him. After working the phones, an unexpected offer comes in from the Vikings. Brennan and Smith can't believe their good fortune. Even after drafting Stefon Diggs, Minnesota possesses the fewest wideouts of any team in the league, while the presence of Teddy Bridgewater offers stability at quarterback. Better still, the Vikings' proposed signing bonus exceeds all the others. The agents don't need to hear any more. They tell the Vikings that Leslie is headed to the Twin Cities.
The celebration doesn't last long, though. Leslie refuses to sign with Minnesota, putting the agents in a precarious position. They've already told the Vikings that Leslie will do the deal, and they risk their reputation by reneging. Smith gets on the phone with Leslie, who wants to play for Kansas City instead. Brennan calls up his Chiefs contact to see if they're still interested, but another player has filled the spot. Smith tries to explain the situation to Leslie during a tense 10-minute phone call. Finally, the wideout agrees to sign with the Vikings."
