Leasing a building for $40K a month. Lessor promises $5,000/month off for promotion. The person typing up the contract types it up as follows:
Original Monthly Payment Price: $40,000
Less Monthly Discounts: $(5,000)
Monthly Payment Due: $32,000
Obviously, anyone looking at the contract could see that the math is wrong but the contract was signed by both parties. Is the Error obvious enough to simply be overturned or is the lessor now legally bound to the price of 32,000?
