Chromecast. Can it play watch tnt, abc, nbc apps?

I don't know, but in my experience TV channel apps usually can't natively

if you are playing them using Chrome Browser you can cast the browser to the tv

Depends. When I cast from my chromebook at 720p high bitrate it looks awesome.
