...if you get some additional training post-BYU that helps you get that 6 figure job - are you going to give any of the credit to that additional training? Or all of the credit goes to BYU?

If Povey was training with JP and not BYU's new guy when he improved his performance, then why not give JP credit? I doubt the new guy wants credit for Povey if he hasn't been working him out.

I'm not sure this is a big deal. Povey worked hard with JP and improved his performance good for him. Probably means it's a good thing BYU has moved on and hired a new guy.
