After further review, I realized that I only know how to DVR from cable/OTA. DVR

for webstreaming is still possible (PlayLater and some others), but probably not for sports. That's why there's WatchESPN and byuTV, though. Again, I really don't like watching sports NOT live (fear of spoilers, and I like the feeling of watching it as it happens). But if I ever need to watch something later there's always WatchESPN.
