Yes, it seems that things are dismal, but in the grand scheme we will survive to
better days of football dominance. And it will be that much sweeter. Not being P5 is not killing us, fan apathy is; look at Red Sox fans, that is a fan base that is die hard. Why are you a fan of BYU sports? Because of Detmer, Young, Fredette or Van Noy? I am a fan because BYU doesn't cut corners, the young men and women stand for more than just a win on the field. My kids look up to them, and they represent something better than the world.
