I sell a lot of more obscure things on eBay. eBay is better for something where you need to include a description and pictures specific to your item. Amazon has made in roads in this area by making it easier to upload pictures specifically of your item but eBay is still better for these things. Amazon restricts which sellers can sell things in certain brand categories a lot of things in those brand categories are a lot cheaper on eBay because people Amazon restricts the number of sellers creating an artificial monopoly.
