I think we are going to get Bolles still but I can tell you that I have heard from very close sources that if BYU were in the Big 12 there would be less hesitation in some elite athletes coming to BYU. Rose and Bronco both know this. Holmoe knows this. Anyone who doesn't believe this has their head in the sand. It is not the only variable, thankfully, but it is a higher than average weighted variable.

I think independence improves football recruiting over MWC but WCC for basketball hurts it a bit. Big 12 would obviously provide a huge improvement in both sports.
