One player chalks up 33 victories in a single season in a TEAM sport? Really? I'm sorry, but this is just wrong. Women's softball would be much more entertaining if they actually involved the other 8 defensive players, the coaches, the hitters and the pinch-hitters and pinch-runners in the game outcomes on a more regular basis.
For one player to have such a profound influence on game outcomes isn't healthy for a team sport. Go watch tennis or wrestling if that's what you want. Ironically, both of those "individual" sports rely even less on ONE player to win team matches than does WSB. Lol
