I thought the issue was that the Big 12 is being paid like it has 12 teams and a
CCG? In order to save the crumbling mess, Fox and ESPN ponied up. So why add something you are already being paid to provide. Adding it isn't going to boost revenue so why bother with a potential trap game for a playoff contender?
