When we built our house a few years ago we chose a carpet color and design that we liked and paid extra to have the thickest padding used in order to create a soft, comfortable feel. We got nothing of the sort. We hate it enough that we've finally decided to replace it. Any recommendations on the texture we should use, padding type, brand, etc...? TIA
