I do
Pros: good health benefits, family friendly, 40% discount on football season tickets
Cons: lower wage scale

I enjoy working at BYU, I'm going on 10 years. I have good co-workers, a good manager and a good interesting/challenging job.

Like mentioned above, it depends on who your manager is and what department you are in. Like any job personalities are varied. Most people are good people. Some people are really smart and are here because they love BYU and want to make a difference. Some are here because they couldn't get a job anywhere else and BYU was desperate to hire someone in that position.

BYU's spectrum of crazies, would tend to have more spiritual type wackos than atheistic wackos. More passive aggressive, whining type of personality rather than in your face type of stuff (ie typical Mormon). Some sort of thick skin is required to handle the undercurrent of "I'm a Bishop/Stake President so you will do what I say" type of stuff comes up occasionally.

Of course, if you can't handle not shaving because the "man" is holding you down then BYU isn't for you.
