Of the 90's? Nah. He was a great player, but
not the best. There were several I would put in front of him in the 90's.
Ken Griffey jr. hit more home runs, had about the same or a higher BA, and had a better glove.
Bond's best slugging and OBP seasons came from 36-39. Right when he was cheating most. His apologists always fail to factor in that without cheating his numbers would have gone down like everyone else's. Instead, he got better as he got older.
Cheater. One of the biggest ever. And that's why he's not in the hall.
