a team that has one player that makes 10 million dollars a year
Would crush this survey, except the survey arbitrarily said you had to have 15 players in the league, which in its self shows the weakness of the formula. most nfl players make less than a million a year. Would you rather have 4 players in the league making 5 million each or be a team with 20 players 3 who make 7 million a year 3 who make 6 million a year 3 who make 5 million a year and 11 who make one million a year? Under this analysis the first team wins but clearly is not the better team at placing players in the nfl or the better team for making more money in the nfl but they have a higher average.
