Did the same thing last night with my family. I served with the Candy Bomber in
Saint Petersburg when he and his late wife were senior missionaries. He's a HUGE BYU football fan. Never forget being told the entire Cotton Bowl experience by him since senior couples could watch TV, make phone calls, etc. He also told me the story of the two sticks of gum one on one in the mission office. Most of the missionaries never knew who he was, but I'm grateful for the chance I had to see a man bring peace and nourishment to former enemies. He had just traded in his pilot's wings for a black name tag. Great man I count myself lucky to know and call a friend.
