change. It was pretty crazy the last time and I think crazy would be required for us to be invited. As the dust has settled, between political, religious and geography, it looks very challenging from my vantage point. I listen to people's predictions and just don't see something feasible...because it almost always looks dilutive.

At this point what I hope for most is an expansion of the football playoff to 8 teams. I think for many teams it would increase the importance of the regular season because vying for slots 5-8 could impact a lot of teams, including BYU.

I love being able to watch every game on TV. If we can get more money in the next round with ESPN where our entire money packet is more closely aligned, and there is an 8 team playoff, I would be in a pretty happy spot, even with independence.
