At least the gum would stay inside his mouth. It's him chewing on half the
mouthguard while the rest of it flops around outside his face that just looks ridiculous.
I don't disagree about the flopping -- that is the new reality of the NBA and unless there are some serious and consistent measures against it that are put in place, it will get more and more prevalent.
