BYU's average ACT score for 2015 admits was a 29 -- some comparisons
That is well above average for PAC-12 schools, of whose ACT scores only Stanford, Berkeley and USC's look meaningfully better (Stanford's scores being head and shoulders above everyone else's -- higher compared to Cal than I would have guessed).
It fares even better in comparison to Big 12 schools. At only Texas and TCU does the middle 50% reach 30.
Most surprising to me is how close it is to UCLA's numbers -- only 52.5% of UCLA enrollees scored a 30 or higher.
Interesting to see how BYU admissions continue to become more selective.
