...I was sort of sad to see him go. I understand the logjam with scholarships but I felt that he was only a freshman and this season was hardly a measure of the player he could be. He wouldn't be a starter over guys like Mika, Kaufusi, etc but we don't know how good Dastrup will be until he returns and hits the floor and plus there's always the chance one of those RM's might decide to transfer instead of return to BYU. Having a long armed (7'3" wingspan) big who could stretch the defense and run the floor would be nice to have on the bench.

I will pay attention to UVU while he's there with the hope that he finishes out his career in strong fashion.
