Arguably our best two athletes go down last season with serious injuries. BYU football players were going down faster than teenage marriages.

Ironically, it wasn't the offense that was the problem from injury, but a very porous defense.

Top it all off with a mediocre bowl performance ending in a loss and a brawl. What went right? BYU won the first four games but after that? Well.......BYU didn't lose to the Utes?

I'm an older BYU fan. Was spoiled rotten with football success when I attended BYU in the mid 70's. Had season tickets in the 80's when the only question at a home game was how badly BYU would stomp the opponent.

Trying to remain positive. Hoping for a special season. IMO, if any college team in the country is deserving of a great season it's BYU. It seems like BYU is becoming the Rodney Dangerfield of college football. (Comedian who's main line was, "I don't get no respect."
