In honor of Memorial Day, I'm going to watch The Longest Day tonight.
I realize it doesn't have the realism of Saving Private Ryan; and that in comparison to SPR, the Omaha Beach landing in The Longest Day is laughable. Still, I like The Longest Day because it gives a good overview of D-Day.
