Yes they were very docile. I put a box right under the swarm and gave the
branch a good whollip and almost the entire swarm fell into the box. Then I dumped the box of bees into a hive I had sitting right there and then watched the bees I didn't get make their way into their new home. It is a lot of fun catching a swarm.
