I watched Jimmer live in Sac many times, so I had the chance to observe him on the court. Many times, he looks lost, out of sync and sort of detached out there. Granted, he was being ostracized by his teammates-- a horrible situation.

But what is stopping Jimmer from being a better defender? We know he is a better athlete than given credit for. Is it a problem with mindset? Attitude? Instincts? Lack of defensive training? Bad habits from the Dave Rose system?

It always seemed to me that good defense was always more about mindset and effort than anything else. You would think that Jimmer could learn to play D at least as well as guys like Hinrich, Ridnour, Redick, Delly, Steve Kerr, etc. what is the issue?
