We spent countless hours at a card shop looking at Beckets and cards. I would scrimp change together just to buy a single pack. My family was really poor at the time, so anytime I was able to buy a single pack of cards, it was a big occasion for me. I still have my collection. I have a couple of Grant Hill rookie cards in mint condition and a bunch of other decent cards. A couple of years ago, I stumbled upon a sports memorabilia store and went in to look at the most recent Beckets. Turns out, my friend and I weren't the only kids that really got into trading cards at the time. The entire industry overprinted cards, which means the cards I own are barely worth more than they were at the time of purchase. It was kind of a bummer to find this out.
Probably the most interesting card I had was a Ken Griffey Jr. rookie card.
