They need another book from Martin asap. This season has been painful to watch as someone who has read the books. HBO chose to gloss over or leave out a lot of detail that could have made for better storytelling and viewing.

It is interesting to talk with people at work that are watching the series, but haven't read the books. There are so many holes in the story being told by HBO that they are having a hard time keeping all the story lines straight.
