My son plays on a travel ball team, I help coach. We had a tournament this weekend and my sons team picked up a kid who hadn't played much with us. The kid struggled a bit, but he's nice enough and tries hard. We made the championship game, losing to a very good team a year older than our group (we were playing up). All during the championship game, the new kids dad trashed our players and head coach (10+ years pro ball experience, also coaches high level 16-18u teams). By the end of the championship game, our parents essentially voted the kid off the team based on the parents behavior.

To top things off, my son put his bags into the back of my truck, and left them alone for about 5 minutes. He has a lot of gear as he catches, pitches, etc. someone stole the bags out of the back of my truck. So we are scrambling to get him new gear before another tournament this weekend. The two new gloves he had for Christmas that he's worked so hard to break in? Gone.
