Thompson should be playing better with Curry drawing most of the defensive pressure.

Thompson had a huge series against the Pelicans because Monty Williams was too dumb to understand you need to pick Thompson up at half court and bait him into dribbling the ball. The Griz and Rockets have neutralized Klay much like the Bullets and Cavs hounded Korver around screens. They overplay him so much it is obvious they would love for him to put the ball on the floor and he has averaged 3 turnovers a game the last two series despite not handling the ball that much.

On defense, Harden has absolutely lit up Thompson. If Barnes, Iguodala, or Green pick Harden up, he hasn't done much. As soon as he sees Klay shadowing him, he attacks immediately. Thompson is making things really hard on Kerr right now.

As a Warriors fan, I might actually take Korver over Klay at this point in the series, because at least Korver knows he should just catch and shoot. Thompson is infuriating me with his insistence that he can drive to the bucket and finish.
