There's a memory bug in 5.0 to 5.02 that will eventually slow down the device. The best way to clear the issue is to reset the phone (not a factory reset, just a normal reset). Your phone will run fine for a while, but eventually it will slow down again. This is supposed to be fixed in 5.1.1 which has not been released yet for most phones.
