Not really...

We compete with them right now with our money. Nothing changes there, we make the same as we make now. We don't lose money, this nets even.

We compete at a recruiting disadvantage now because of conference and P5 status. Being in the Big 12 improves our recruiting, thus improves our competitive advantage. We net positive here.
