Was a guy getting out of a charge for public exposure because he showed his genitals to a girls sitting next to him on an airplane and appeared to be pleasuring himself.

So the story goes (and was argued in court) he had been using peppermint essential oils for a headache and had failed to wash his hands prior to using the restroom. The pain of getting the oils on his genitals was so bad, he felt the only good idea was to pull his genitals out of his pants in an effort to find relief by airing himself off. He had tried to cover his exposed genitals, but apparently had failed to completely do so. The judge bought the story and he was acquitted.
