I see and hear a bunch of 8 or more win projections out there. I think that's overly optimistic given the gradual direction the program has been going the last few seasons.

With an improved schedule, More than 8 wins is a reach. If Bronco gets 8+ wins out of this team I will be impressed. Yes I know Taysom is back, yes I know Bronco is back directing the defense, but there are still an awful lot of questions about this team.

It might be a stretch to suggest JSwagDaddy will be ready for the season opener. I always want to laugh when I read tweets from radio personalities and others talking about the speed and vision of one Nate Carter. To me, if anything, that's a stark reminder of the overall lacking depth/talent of the roster.

There will be up to 10 1st and 2nd String contributors sitting out of the season opener due to suspensions as Bronco has alluded to previously.

The starting 5 OL is strong, but after that the depth/talent is lacking. There's major questions (as usual) in the Secondary. Aside from Bronson and Tuiloma I'd argue there's real questions all over the defense.

There's the biggest question of all....can Taysom stay healthy and if not, an inexperienced backup Freshman will be thrown into the fire, something that might bode well for prep for 2016, but in all likelihood will put 2015 in the crapper.

BYU Must start out 2-2 at a minimum with the @Nebraska, Boise St, @ UCLA, @ Michigan gauntlet. I'm not sure how realistic that is.

They most certainly won't beat Mizzou. They've struggled with Utah State the last several years. Given how they've performed against MWC teams, Fresno is no guarantee.

Cincy and East Carolina are good teams that last year would've likely beat BYU. Both of those games are far from any kind of guarantee.

I see 3 Guarantee wins: Wagner, San Jose State and UConn. And if Taysom goes down scratch San Jose and UConn from the guarantee win column.

6 wins and bowl eligibility will be a struggle.
