Athlon lists it as one of it's top 15 potential QB matchups this next season. That will generate a huge buzz I think, especially if BYU made it through those first 4 games in pretty good shape. It could be a matchup of two darkhorse Heisman candidates leading top 25 teams and give ESPN quite a bit to talk about.

Making honorable mention on the list for Athlon is Taysom vs Chuckie Keeton and Taysom vs Mauk (Mizzou).

There are quite a few Pac12 matchups on their list involving Jared Goff, Cody Kessler, Mike Bercovici, Vernon Adams (the EWU transfer), etc but strangely....none involvng the Giraffe.

The matchup between Hill and Keeton will be more interesting to me in a way than the matchup with Kiel. Once upon a time Keeton was deemed the best QB in the state but injuries and poor play have pulled him down several notches. Taysom had a breakout year 2 yrs ago and was on the verge of a 2nd one when Brian Suite reared his ugly head again. Now, both are seniors and hopefully healthy for the first time in a long time and this is their chance to prove some things. Namely was USU's upset of BYU last year a fluke? And once and for all, who is the better QB in the state of Utah?
