Heston has got the talent and mindset to become an ace pitcher for the club, yet another home-grown player from the team that allegedly has a terrible farm system. Go figure.
As far as being the hottest team in baseball right now, I do have to curb my optimism a bit, realizing that the team's hot streak had been against teams that the Giants expect to beat, like the Reds, Rockies, Brewers, Dodgers, etc (), but it is encouraging to see them get leads in games even against elite pitching, and really roll out the hitting streaks every once in a while.
Will be interesting to see where the team goes from here, considering the Giants would have to go 13-1 in their next 14 just to match how well they started last year, and last year they still stumbled to 6 games back and only a tie for the wildcard...but then won a World Series. A LOT can happen between now and October.
