Yesterday I had a colonoscopy. While recovering in a room full of about 6 other
Patients, I was told by the attending medical staff (alll female-about 7-8 of them) to pass as much gas as I could or they wouldn't let me go. I really thought nobody could hear it, but the nurse standing a few feet from the foot of the bed starts whooping it up like an overly exuberant cheerleader. I'm like, Wow! Have you always been this outgoing? She said , "It's my job? Gastro-Intestinal Nurses are a peculiar people.
