I don't like using it, but it is a testament to how beloved Luke was.
We all shared in his disappointment. And we all knew that minus the gimpy joints, Luke woulda likely made some waves as a rare, white tailback in the NFL. Dude was an incredible, incredible athlete & a great instinctive runner.
SGC doesn't really disrespect those realities as much as celebrate them, IMO. I'm just not into using it, for whatever reason. Maybe cuz it reminds me of the disappointment. Still, I think you have to strain to get the negative out of it that you're seeing.
