Yes, Mexico has some really spectacular peaks. There's another one right next to
the one I climbed, that is a bit higher at about 18,000 ft, but climbers haven't been allowed on it for many years now because it's an active volcano and erupts from time to time. I think some climbers died on it, from inhaling poisonous volcanic gas, not long before I climbed the next door neighbor.
