Big 12 schools are very familiar with BYU TV and have been impressed
with the coverage and exposure it has given the WCC not only during the regular seasons but in tournament play.
LHN was feared to have been a recruiting advantage for Texas by showing high school games and other programs. BYU TV has avoided such programming and has enhanced the conference as a whole.
Playing in conference BYU will be on ESPN and Fox are less than they are today. But for those games not picked up by ESPN or Fox (if allowed), BYUTV could cover the BYU vs. Iowa St or BYU vs. Kansas St. game. That means those lessor teams also receive exposure along with the conference.
